Akari Energy provides engineering design, plan review, installation quality control, and commissioning oversight. We also develop and provide engineering consulting for large scale green energy utility sized systems.
These services may be provided for any of our core products including solar, wind, energy efficiency, and hurricane readiness. Our engineering services are also available when we are not the project installer.Engineering Design
Using proprietary techniques and engineering methods, we custom design a system to maximize green energy production and efficiency. An efficient design starts with accurate site specific data. All of our Akari Energy designs are certified with the Akari Energy seal of approval, ensuring efficient and effective design parameters.
In the case of a photovoltaic (PV) system, determining the site specific characteristics is critical, such as solar isolation, angle of incident, azimuth, shading analysis and many other factors. Our qualified engineering team uses this accurate information to design the most efficient Akari SolarPower System that captures the most sun possible.
For an Akari WindPower System, site wind characteristic information is necessary to select the appropriate turbine. We advise at least 12 months of wind characteristic be measured with anemometer at the proposed site before design begins. Our engineering team will set up and record all the necessary wind data, later utilizing a statistical analysis of that data to allow for efficient wind turbine design. We can also provide an analysis using interpolated data, combining historical area information with site point or short range measurement. Either wind analysis allows for the selection of the wind turbine, installation guidelines and electrical design that maximizes the generated wind power.
Energy efficiency often has the highest energy savings impact, with relatively low cost. An Akari Energy Audit will help you determine what improvements need to be implemented in your home or business and provides cost estimates. These recommendations can be completed by Akari Energy technicians, however, our engineering team can provide design details for others to complete.
Plan Review
Akari Energy can review plans submitted by outside contractors for compliance with current energy codes and standards, and to help ensure an energy efficient design. In many cases, we have a list of recommendations for plan improvements, which may be incorporated into design revisions.
Once the plans are accepted by our team of engineers, they are certified and receive the Akari Energy seal of approval. Akari Energy certification helps to ensure the plans reflect high green energy production and efficiency.
Installation Quality Control
Provided Akari Energy designs or certifies the plans, we can also provide installation quality control. Akari Energy's engineers will ensure that the installing contractors follow the certified plans and utilize quality installation methods. We make sure the contractor installs what the certified plans specify,and no short-cuts are taken. Akari Energy also makes sure quality products are used and equipment integrity is maintained throughout the installation process. Provided the installation meets our high quality standards, Akari Energy will certify the installation for high green energy production and efficiency.

After Akari Energy designs or certifies the green energy plans and the installation, our team of engineers can also oversee the commissioning process. We will help make sure the system turns operational as prescribed and recommend any tweaks to ensure optimal performance.

Utility Scale Power Development
