As soon as the sun begins to set, roads and parking areas become dark and increasingly difficult to traverse, especially in remote areas.  Street lights need to assist drivers in navigating road curves and roadway obstructions.  Lighting is important so that pedestrians and other moving objects are visible.  Parking areas require evening light so vehicles can park, or leave the lot.  Akari Solar Lighting can be spread out over small, or large areas and provides reliable, brilliant, and beautiful lighting for city roads, neighborhoods, apartment complexes, schools, remote facilities, ranches, parking lots, etc.  The best part is that the power from the sun is free.

Automatic On/Off Lighting
During the day, the Akari Solar Lighting System captures sunlight via solar panel(s).  This sunlight is converted to electricity used to charge the built-in battery.  When the sun sets and the solar panels are no longer capturing sunlight, they system detects darkness and automatically powers on the street lights.  Power supplied by the battery enclosed in the battery box is then delivered to the high-intensity LEDs brilliantly lighting the area for which it was designed.  In the morning, the system will automatically detect sunlight and turn off the street lights.  Once again, the solar panels will begin capturing sunlight recharging the batteries.
